How the estimate works
The calculator follows one chain. Some number of people ask AI assistants about your market each month. In some share of those answers your brand is named. A fraction of readers click through, and a fraction of visitors become customers. Each customer is worth an average deal. Raise the share from where it is now to where you want it, and the difference is your extra revenue.
What each input means
- Monthly AI searches. How many times a month people ask an AI assistant a question your brand could answer. Make your best guess and test a range.
- Share of answers naming you now. Out of those questions, the percent of answers that already mention your brand today.
- Share you want to reach. The percent you would like to be named in. If it is at or below today's share, the extra revenue is zero.
- Click rate from an answer. Of the people who read an answer that names you, the percent who visit your site.
- Visit to customer rate. Of those visitors, the percent who buy. Your current website conversion rate is a fair start.
- Average deal value. What one new customer is worth to you, in dollars.
- Monthly cost. What you spend each month to improve and track this. Leave it at zero if you only want the revenue figure.
Using it well
Run it three times: a cautious case, a middle case and a hopeful one. If the result is only worth the cost in the hopeful case, that tells you something. Inputs outside the sensible range are cut back, so shares and rates never go above 100 percent and negative numbers count as zero.
To replace guesses with real numbers, check what assistants say about your brand with the free AI visibility checker, and use weekly tracking to see the share move over time.

Questions
What does the GEO ROI calculator estimate?
It estimates the extra visits, customers and revenue you could get each month if AI assistants named your brand in a larger share of the answers your buyers read, and how that compares with what you spend.
How accurate is it?
It is a rough estimate from the numbers you enter. It multiplies your inputs together and nothing else, so it is only as good as those inputs. Use it to compare scenarios, not to forecast.
Where do I get the number of AI searches?
No public source gives an exact figure. Start from the questions your buyers ask in your market and make an honest guess, then try a low and a high number to see the range.
What does the return on cost number mean?
It is the extra revenue minus your monthly cost, divided by the cost. A value of 1x means you earn back the cost once over on top of paying it. A negative value means the cost is higher than the extra revenue. With no cost entered, it is not shown.
Is anything saved or sent?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and the numbers you enter are not sent anywhere.
