Terms of service
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and AnswerSpot (“we”) for using AnswerSpot: this website, its free tools and any paid subscription. By using AnswerSpot you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you agree for that company.
What AnswerSpot does
AnswerSpot shows how AI assistants answer the questions buyers ask in your market, and suggests changes that may help your business show up more often. AI answers change often and can differ from one person to the next, so everything we show is a record of the answers we received, with how many there were and when. We can't promise any particular mention, position or result.
Free tools
The free tools need no account. Some of them give estimates made by an AI model rather than live answers, and they say so on the page. We may reuse a result for up to 7 days when the same check is run again. To keep the tools free for everyone, we limit how often each visitor can use them each day.
Fair use
Please don't:
- use AnswerSpot to break the law or anyone else's rights;
- check websites in order to harm them or their owners;
- overload the service, or get around its daily limits or bot checks;
- copy or resell AnswerSpot, or feed its results into a competing product, without our written permission.
We may block access that breaks these rules.
Accounts
If you create an account, keep your login safe and tell us if someone else uses it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Paying and cancelling
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You see what you will pay before you pay it, and you can cancel from your billing page in two clicks. Refunds follow our refunds and cancellation policy.
Your information and ours
You own what you give us: your brand and competitor names, your questions and your website addresses. You let us use them only to run AnswerSpot for you. We own AnswerSpot, its software and its design. How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy.
Changes
We improve AnswerSpot all the time and may change or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new date and, if you have an account, email you before it takes effect.
Liability
AnswerSpot is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Ending
You can stop using AnswerSpot at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account without such a reason, we refund any time you have paid for and not used.
