AI visibility checker
This AI visibility checker gives you an estimate, made by an AI model, of whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini would name your brand when a buyer asks about your category. Free and without signing up.
What AI visibility means
AI visibility is how often an assistant names your business when a buyer asks a question in your market. A buyer who asks “what is the best option for a small team” gets a short list. Being on it can bring a visit, a call or a sale. Being left off means the buyer never learns you exist.
This AI visibility checker gives you a quick first look at where you stand. It is an estimate made by an AI model, so use it to start a conversation with your team, not to report a figure.
How to use the checker
Enter three things.
- Brand. The name buyers would use for your business.
- Category. What you sell, in the words a buyer would use.
- Competitors. Optional. Up to three names, separated by commas.
You get one buyer question for your category, then a row for each of ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini showing the brands the estimate lists and whether yours is among them.
How to read the result
Each row ends with either a position such as “#2” or “Not named”. A position tells you where your brand sits in the list for that assistant. “Not named” means it was left out.
The summary line, such as “Named in 2 of 3”, counts how many assistants included you. It is a rough guide. A result of 3 of 3 is encouraging and 0 of 3 is a reason to look closer, but neither is a verdict.
The names in each row are worth reading too. They show the businesses an assistant tends to put next to yours. If a competitor appears everywhere and you do not, study what that business publishes: how it describes itself, which questions its pages answer, and where it is mentioned.
What helps a brand get named
- Clear pages that say what you do, who it is for and how to start.
- Allowing AI crawlers in your robots.txt so your pages can be read.
- Structured data and a sitemap, so your pages are easy to understand.
- Mentions on other trusted sites, such as reviews, directories and articles.
- Answers to the exact questions buyers ask, in plain language.
The robots.txt AI checker and the AI readiness checker cover the first three of these. The GEO prompt generator helps with the last.
Why this is an estimate
The answer an assistant gives depends on the exact wording of the question, on the day, and on what the assistant can look up. A single run of any tool cannot capture that range. That is why this checker is labelled as an estimate, and why we suggest looking at trends rather than one result.
If you want to know how your position changes after you improve your site, weekly tracking repeats the questions on a schedule and shows the movement. Choose “Track this every week” below to start it.

Questions
What does the AI visibility checker show?
It shows an estimate, made by an AI model, of which brands ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini would be likely to name for a buyer question in your category, and where your brand would sit in the list.
Are these the live answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini?
No. The result is an estimate written by an AI model. It is a quick way to get a feel for your position, not a record of what those assistants said today.
What does "Named in 2 of 3" mean?
The estimate covers three assistants. "Named in 2 of 3" means your brand was included for two of them and left out for one.
Why add competitors?
Naming competitors helps the estimate reflect the businesses a buyer would compare you with. You can add up to three, separated by commas. The field is optional.
How do I see real answers over time?
Choose "Track this every week" for weekly tracking. It shows how assistants answer buyer questions in your market week by week, so you can see whether changes to your site make a difference.
